CHINESE BETROTHAL WEDDING HAMPERS TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Delivery Terms:
1. All deliveries are free within Metropolitan Areas. Additional charges may apply for areas outside the metropolitan area (OUTER ISLANDS) or locations with staircases.
2. We deliver every day of the year except for Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and the first three days of Chinese New Year. Additional charges may apply upon request.
3. Customers can choose a specific delivery time between 9 am and 7 pm. If delivery times are requested outside of these hours, an additional $500 fee will be charged.
4. Decorating service is available at an additional charge and must be pre-arranged.
5.Chinese Wedding Gift Box and Chinese Wedding Red Packets will be mailed to you within 5 working days of receiving your order.
6. The Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hamper offers a door-to-door delivery service. However, in accordance with Chinese pre-wedding customs and traditions, the hampers cannot be delivered beyond the entrance of the delivery address. Prior arrangements will be made with the groom to collect the hampers at the building entrance or outside the front door.
Self Pickup:
1. Pick-up service is available with a prior appointment from our Kwai Chung office. From Monday to Sunday between 10:30 am-1:00 pm and 2:00 pm-6:00 pm, excluding public holidays.
2. Any and all changes to content or packaging requested at the time of pickup will be refused.
3. For self-pickup we are unable to provide any loading assistance.
Typhoon and Severe Weather Arrangement:
1. There will be no deliveries in the event of severe weather such as Typhoon 8 or Black rainstorm.
2. In the case of an imminent typhoon warning of 8 or higher, you may choose to have the hampers delivered earlier.
3. Deliveries will resume as soon as the typhoon signal warning 8 or above, or black rainstorm warning is lowered.
4.VWOWGIFTS LIMITED cannot be held responsible for Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hampers delivered outside of the pre-arranged time slot in the event of severe weather conditions.
Cancellation & Amendments:
1. All cancellations and amendments must be received in writing by email.
2. Any amendments must be made in writing with a minimum of 30 days notice. We may refuse any amendments with less than 30 days notice. Amendments will not be accepted if requests are made with less than 48 hours notice.
3. Any amendments that result in the replacement of perishable items (i.e., fresh fruit) will result in additional charges.
4. Cancellations less than 15 days but more than 48 hours before delivery will be refunded in store credit, less HK$1000 administrative fee.
5. Cancellations less than 48 hours cannot be cancelled.
6. Customized or specific items purchased explicitly for the customer cannot be refunded regardless of the cancellation date.
7. In case of any disputes,VWOWGIFTS LIMITED reserves the right of final decision.
Product Terms:
1. Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hampers require a minimum order lead time of 7 business days.
2. Bridal cake brand may change subject to availability.
3. Customization, specific product requests, or product upgrades must be requested at least one month before the anticipated date of delivery. We will endeavor to accommodate reasonable requests, and quotations will be provided separately.
4. It is recommended that customers follow the below product storage recommendations upon completion of the ceremony.
5. Japanese sea cucumber, dried prawns, dried oysters, dried abalone, dried scallops and pine tree leaves should be refrigerated immediately once the Betrothal ceremony is complete.
6. Bird's nest, fish maw, bamboo fungus, dried conch, red lotus, and lily bulbs should be placed in cool place once the Betrothal ceremony is complete.
7. Mushrooms and sea cucumbers should be stored in a cool and dry place.
8. The contents of the golden coconut hampers cannot be altered, and we are unable to accommodate requests for specific flavours for tea leaves. It is a natural occurrence for fresh produce such as nuts, walnuts, and coconuts to attract insects.
9. Requests for specific brands cannot be guaranteed. VWOWGIFTS LIMITED reserves the right to refuse a customer's request to purchase products from a specific company or supplier. Products may be purchased separately at the customer's expense and included in the hampers.
10. Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hampers include a pair of Dragon and Phoenix wax candles. LED candles can be purchased separately upon request and are subject to availability.
11. Wedding tea ceremony tea sets, kneeling cushions, and red tablecloths are not included in Chinese betrothal pre-wedding hampers.
12. Traditional Chinese bridal cakes are freshly made and contain no preservatives. They must be consumed within 7 days of delivery.
13. Dragon and Phoenix wedding pastries for the Bride's hair combing ceremony should not be consumed.
14. Sibling red packets, or "lai see," provided upon request only. Brother "lai see" and sister "lai see" (for female relatives) will be provided according to customer requirements, up to a maximum of 5 of each.
15. Fruits will be provided according to seasonal availability. VWOWGIFTS LIMITED reserves the right to substitute fruits without prior notice.
